This talk begins with looking at the importance of thankfulness, which Paul clearly wrote about and modelled. Our walk of love and faith in Christ is costly because we are choosing (daily) to put Christ first and live our lives His way, and not our own. The story of Philemon gives us a glimpse into this. The key Scriptures for this talk are Philemon 1:1-21; Luke 14:25-33.
