This was the fourth Sunday of Advent, the final Sunday before Christmas. The readings were Romans 1:1-7, Matthew 1:18-25. I tackle the confusing ‘engaged' but married’ Scripture, and exhort believers to follow the biblical pattern to be heralds of the gospel.
